A. Clapès

Licenciado en Arquitectura y Master’s degree in Theory and Practice of Architectural Design en la Escuela Politècnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Barcelona, UPC. En su tesis de máster analizó la densidad como forma de crecimiento urbano. En la actualidad está investigando sobre Arquitecturas interactivas a consecuencia de la aplicación de las tecnologías de comunicación, para su trabajo de tesis doctoral. Ha trabajado en Toyo Ito architects, Miralles Tagliabue – EMBT y Ábalos Sentkiewitz Arquitects en proyectos en Europa, Méjico y China.

Ganó el primer premio para la construcción del Museo Arqueológico de Calvià (Mallorca). También obtuvo el primer premio en la 13 Competition about environmental and sustainable projects for Politechnic University in Catalonia, con el proyecto Power generation system reusing dissipated heat energy on the underground.
Es cofundador de IS ARCH awards for arhitecture students.

Bachelor of Architecture and Master’s degree in Theory and Practice of Architectural Design at the Technical School of Architecture in Barcelona, at UPC. In his master’s thesis he analyzed the density as a form of urban growth. Currently, he is doing the PhD researching on interactive architectures resulting from the application of communication technologies. He worked at Toyo Ito architects, Miralles Tagliabue – EMBT and Abalos Sentkiewitz Architects on projects in Europe, Mexico and China.

He won the first prize for building the Archaeological Museum in Calvià (Mallorca). He was also awarded the first prize in the 13th Environmental and Sustainable projects competition for the Politechnic University in Catalonia, with the project called Power generation system reusing dissipated heat energy on the underground.
He co-founded IS ARCH awards for arhitecture students.
